Law firm Walker Morris announces the major appointment of leading intellectual property lawyer, Philip Harris.
Philip, a solicitor, trade mark attorney & litigator and former president of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, (ITMA) joined the firm on 1 February 2012 as a consultant. Previously, he was a partner and Head of Trade Marks at the London firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys – Gill Jennings and Every LLP.

In addition to being a former president of ITMA, Philip will bring a host of other skills and experience to the practice. He is an accredited CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) mediator and represented ITMA in the discussions which led to the recent reforms of the Patents County Court
Walker Morris' IP and trade mark practice manages complex and substantial cases for UK and overseas clients. It represents a number of well-known brands such as ghd, UGG Boots, Ministry of Sound and Philip Screw Company to name a few.
